Happy New Year!!!!
I'm sure that we all are looking forward to what 2010 will bring our way. We've laid claim to increase in all areas of our lives and have pledged to do all that we can to be good stewards of our blessings. One thing that we have learned is that we must help God help us. If we are "determined to win in 2010" we have to set goals and put plans in place that will enable us to experience success.
I invite you to be a part of our "Biggest Winner" campaign that is set to kick off on January 20th. Striving to be healthy and physically fit is one way to show God that we appreciate this "temple" (body) that he has blessed us with. That can be your first big step towards the victory that He has promised us.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanks for the new post, I am looking forward to being a part of this great new program. Even a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. I think this will help us encourage each other.
ReplyDeleteI'm in total agreement. There's a lot to be said for accountability! It will keep us from giving up so easily...because sometimes a journey can seem hopeless if we are traveling alone.
ReplyDeleteHi Co-Pastor! I love the new direction that we as a body are moving into. I am looking forward to being apart of the BIGGEST WINNER! I have actually started on my total life style chance a few months ago. Going through this as a family will help me even more. I love you, Pastor and Pastor OJay so much! I thank God for you and my Trinity family. Have a wonderfully blessed night. Love You, Jessica Saunders
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment, Jessica. It was obvious tonight that people are excited about the opportunity to take the challenge as a body. Several people also seemed interested in the help that they can get from Pastor OJ. I can't wait until we start seeing results!
ReplyDeleteThe company that I work for has started a "BIGGEST LOSER" challenge. I decided not to be a part because I know that I am a WINNER. Plus doing this with my family will help all the more. I got the info about Pastor OJ's program and I am looking forward to being apart of that also. Wonderful results are soon to come!!! We walk by faith and not by sight!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Jessica! We know that we must see ourselves as God sees us. That means that we can never refer to ourselves as losers. (Angels comprehend what they literally hear)
ReplyDeleteWe had about two dozen people sign up last night for the campaign. I know that more will come on board once the idea catches on.
The hardest part of any undertaking is getting started!
I agree Co-Pastor, the hardest part is getting started! The most important thing we need to remember is, this is a life style change. When we learn to look at getting our bodies/temples in sharpe in this light we will do better. This is the approach I have taken and it does help.
ReplyDeleteI am excited and so happy that 2 dozen people so far has decided to change their life style for the better.
Go Biggest Winners!!! For those who may not need to loose weight, let's appreciate that our bodies are temples (as Co-Pastor pointed out) and commit to maintaining what God has "fearfully and wonderfully made". Let's encourage each other and pray for the success of our brothers and sisters as they endeavor to loose weight and maintain "perfect health" (in the words of our Pastor). Sholom
