The enemy has declared war on marriages! We can clearly see evidence of this in the numerous accounts of marital problems everyday. It is up to us to defeat the enemy by adhering to the Word of God and His instructions on how to operate within the home.
The enemy knows that if he can defeat the family, he can defeat the church. The sad truth is that he has scored many victories in his plight against us. To stand passively by and watch this happen is not an option! It is our responsibility as Christian warriors to be vigilant in this battle that has been raged against us!
Pastor recently taught a series on the family wherein we were reminded of the principls of marriage and how God intended for us to function as a unit. But it is not enough for us to merely HEAR the truth. We must be consistent DOERS of the Word in order to make the enemy flee from us. Then and only then will we have a healing of the family structure.

Resurrection Season
As we enter into this Resurrection season, let us consider that it is a momentus time of the year. As spring produces changes in the air and flowers begin to bloom, what comes to mind is the fact that all of these things symbolize an awakening, new season, and new birth. Just as we celebrate the fact that God sacrificed His Son for us during this season, we need to acknowledge what all of this means to us. Let us reflect on the changes that all of us endeavor to make in our lives daily so that we will continue to grow and blossom into creatures just as beautiful as the ones we see in nature.

HOPE
Pastor has been teaching on "Hope" for the past few Sundays. It is my desire that these messages have been of help to our body since all of us struggle daily with some type of issue. This can be of a personal nature, a professional endeavor, or even a family crisis. Whatever the type or cause, you can rest assured that the enemy is setting out to challenge us in some way. We have learned that it is the "Hope" from God that gives us the perseverance to believe for change and/or recovery to take place. We are more than conquerors! We have a bloodbought right to the victory! Jesus Christ sealed that promise to us more than 2,000 years ago. But it is our responsibility to walk in it.
Much Love...

Make 2011 Your Ticket To Heaven!
As we embark upon a new year, let's make a renewed effort to broaden our knowledge of God's Word and strengthen our walk with Him.
It is common practice for people to make new year's resolutions...all of which seem to fade away, one by one. Maybe it's because there were no heartfelt purposes for the promises from the beginning. Or maybe it has been a matter of self discipline. Whatever the reason, it comes down to the fact that the victory was lost. Whenever that happens, we can rest assured that the enemy has taken pleasure in our defeat.
As we make the effort to draw closer to Him, we will not only achieve our goal of keeping our New Year's promise; But that accomplishment will enable us to open other doors and avenues that will help us realize all of God's promises to us.
Don't miss this opportunity to soar to higher heights!

FINANCING BY FAITH
On Sunday, October 17th we kicked off the pledge campaign for our new building. It's going to be amazing to see what God is going to do for us, His people. I know that we are all truly looking forward to the manifestation of His promises.
One of our members emailed me and expressed disappointment at seeing the number of people who didn't attend the kickoff because they felt they are unable to commit at this time. I am in agreement with her that we must never limit the power of God. Our extremities are God's opportunities. That is the very essence of our theme, "Financing By Faith". We must continue to look to God to do great things for us. But we must do our part by holding fast to our faith no matter how strong the opposition appears in the natural.
For we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)

Fasting and Confessions
As we enter into this season preceding Jubilee Day, we need to fix our minds on the purpose of the occasion. Doing so will give us the will and determination to continue with sacrificial hearts throughout the next 40 days.
We know that fasting itself doesn't move God. Instead, it empowers us and increases our faith in an effort to sustain us until manifestation comes. In addition to that, we must fully realize the power of our words (confession) and the impact that it will have on what we are believing God for.
Our combined efforts of corporate fasting and confession will magnify our desire and bring to pass our determination to win nonbelievers and loved ones into the Kingdom of God!

POWER OF PRAYER
By now we are all aware of the devastation that has taken place in Haiti. As a body we have contributed financially to this worthwhile cause and we have (undoubtedly) contributed in some way to the relief efforts of the Red Cross or other organizations. Some of us have taken on the special calling of missionary work by becoming a part of various teams that have traveled there to assist with rescue assignments.
If you feel at a loss or need to find some other avenue of which to be of help, don't forget that God has afforded us the use of a resource that produces results everytime. We can commit to spending quality time talking to God in an effort to intercede on their behalf. This means that we can petition God for the restoration and peace that only He can provide.
Let us make a unified effort to use the power of prayer to bring about change and rearrange things. Remember that this power lies within each of us!
